To the people who accused me of cherry-picking to find problems

with the wonderful Brit National Health Service: who has to cherry-pick in such a ripe field of crap?
More than 5,000 cancer patients will be denied life-extending drugs under plans which charities say are a “dreadful” step backwards for the NHS.

Health officials have just announced sweeping restrictions on treatment, which will mean patients with breast, bowel, skin and pancreatic cancer will no longer be able to receive drugs funded by the NHS.
Short version: .gov declares "Nobody should be denied cancer drugs!"
.gov runs out of other peoples' money.
.gov declares "We can't pay for this anymore."
And when the .gov controls who gets what, guess what?
