I wonder why?

Just looked over at Project Gutenberg for stuff by H. Beam Piper, and found a whole list; but the one I really wanted, Lord Kalvan of Otherwhen, isn't there. So I checked Amazon, and same thing: whole piles of his stuff in the Kindle store, but not this one.Link

That book is still in copyright, Gutenberg can't post it online until the copyright runs out. Google does present a few places where it can be downloaded.

For some reason didn't think about the copyright date. Though I do wonder why no e-edition at Amazon, considering all the others of his available.

I believe that Jerry Pournell inherited Piper's copyrights, so why not ask him at his Chaos Manor blog???

I believe Jerry is ill, so be kind and patient.

I believe that "The Great King's War" is the sequel.

Written by Roland Green and John F. Carr -- It is available for free at Baen.

Got a paperback; just thought it'd be nice to have it on the Kindle.

And I may check at Pournelle's place, thanks for the info
