Among the reasons it doesn't bother me that the New York Effing Times is going out of business

is their habit of committing treason.
Yesterday, The New York Times published another front-page article based on a leaked classified document. This time, it was an order signed by Gen. David Petraeus authorizing black operations against adversaries and such dubious friends as Iran, Syria, Yemen and Saudi Arabia.

Gee, thanks. We really needed to know that. The world's a better place now
.

I'll agree and disagree with this next bit:
Yet the Times' sin was the lesser one. The paper has long since given up any pretense of patriotism. (Ugh! Yuck!) Its editors are just publishing and perishing as citizens of the world.

It's whoever leaked the document that bears the burn-in-hell blame.
No argument that whoever leaked this- EVERYBODY involved in leaking this- ought to be suitably punished, and I'd strongly consider a noose to be suitable and appropriate. Thing is, I'm not willing to give the NYF'nTimes a break; they've repeatedly shown they're willing to see American troops killed and operations damaged or ruined for the sake of their own political agenda, and I'm long out of patience or tolerance with this shit. They know exactly what they're doing when they publish these things, and tar & feathers is the least the bastards deserve for doing so.

Somehow I think THIS story would have seen the Kill Switch!
