As audience members were heard chuckling in the background, Levine
said: “In terms of the differences of the guns, the heart of the difference is how you hold the gun. It makes it a semi-automatic.” He
showed his trigger finger moving, and added, “Meaning you can shoot with
each finger, not like a bolt-action” rifle typically used in hunting.
“Basically, the difference between guns that go like this,”
he said, extending one arm long, presumably to show holding a long
barrel. “These are rifles, you use them to shoot an animal, and you can
shoot very precisely.”
Del. Mark Levine
Oh yes, there's more.
These are the ignorant/lying bastards who think they know what's best for all the commoners.

Patricia Eddington and TexasMomsforBeto!: Speaking of ignorance and idiots,
“But
some of these bullets as you saw have an incendiary device on the tip
of it, which is a heat-seeking device, so you don’t shoot deer with a bullet that size. If you do, you could cook it at the same time.”
and
“Here is the thing… I don't think you could even eat the meat of an animal killed with a semi automatic weapon. It would be so full of shrapnel.”
Just amazing, isn't it?

Now consider the ignorance and, often, stupidity, of those who voted for her
“Well, there’s a lot of things I could list. I would love to see a
ban on semiautomatic weapons, and the ammunition that goes with them but
right now we’re working on background checks,” she says with an air of
confidence.
Wait, what? Did she really just say ban all semiautos and the ammo that goes with ‘em??? Banning semiauto ammo would mean banning most categories of firearms.
Nuance Bro did what any credible journalist would do in his position and asked for her to clarify her radically inane statement.
“I would like [the U.S.] to mirror California’s gun laws,” she says to sum up her stance.
But you can buy semiautomatic handguns in California, he responds. To which she says, “Well, we’ve banned the bump stock.”
Huh? WTF!!! But wait, it gets better (and by “better,” I mean dumber).
Yes, it does.

Good Lord, and these idiots believe she's an expert...
“The problem is high-powered weapons. It’s weapons that go through walls in
some instances, armory that officers wear. It’s the availability of adouble-barreled magazine extended clips. Why would a regular person need all of
that?”
...
But wait, there’s more!
...
But wait, there’s more!
- Unaware that the waiting period to purchase a firearm in California is a minimum of ten days, she describes the purchase process like this: “They do a database search, and three days later, you get a gun. It’s just that simple.”
- She also seems unaware that, in California, firearm dealers at gun shows are required to follow the exact same transfer laws as anywhere else: “It’s very easy to purchase a gun at a gun show,” she claims. “Much easier than it is if you go to a brick and mortar establishment.”
