For half the price, Henry's H23 LASR will give pretty decent results. I got four rounds inside 1 1/8" at 90y using IMI 77's on the first range session. Considering my eyesight and abilities, it should consistently go 1 MOA with a better shooter. It has the best lever action I've ever felt. Rounds cycle buttery-smooth.
A .223 lever gun for $2500? Seems a bit steep to me when you can build a sub MOA AR for less than $1k. I'm not sure I get the idea behind a .223 lever gun in the first place.
Don't get me wrong...I love my Henry lever action rifle in .45-70. It's one of my favorite guns to shoot, but I don't get this "lets make it weak, modern and have a magazine sticking out the bottom" thing. I've got ARs for weak and modern and magazines.
Maybe I'm just too pragmatic. I don't see the point. Maybe there isn't one. Maybe this is just a gun for people with money to burn and a need to own things oddball or new.
