How close Europe came to a real-life, no bs disaster

Here's the link for the post.

And here's an article at Yahoo Finance:
A reliance on net zero energy left Spain and Portugal vulnerable to the mass blackouts engulfing the region, experts said last night.

In what is believed to be Europe’s largest power cut, tens of millions of people were left without electricity, while flights were grounded, trains halted and whole cities were left without power, internet access or other vital services.

The cause of the initial fault in the region’s electricity grid is still being investigated, and the EU has insisted that there were no indications that it was a cyberattack.

However, energy experts have blamed a heavy reliance on solar and wind farms in Spain for leaving the region’s power grid vulnerable to such a crisis.

A state of emergency was declared in Spain, while in Portugal, water company EPAL said supplies could also be disrupted.

Queues formed at shops of people seeking to purchase emergency supplies like gaslights, generators and batteries.

Energy operators are fighting to restore power in Spain, Portugal and parts of France, and residents are being urged to avoid travel and use mobile phones sparingly.

More at the link.

Must be making a bunch of the Net Zero  morons in Britain and Canada upset that all the peasants are getting information on this.

As if our grid is in any better shape....

Seems like Texas had a similar experience and here in Nebraska the idiotic power companies are pushing wind and solar when there is plenty of coal available.

If the system overloads when it is not even hot (or cold), it will overload when people actually need more electricity at the height of summer and bottom of winter. Insane their water systems almost failed immediately.

Net Zero is a milestone towards Socialism and central planning. ‘You will have nothing and like it’ is dependent on artificial shortages and this includes energy. Liberals celebrate scarcity and already calls are going out to increase so called renewable energy and resist building new reactors.

I'm sure they will get the problems all squared away before July/August peak load times when all those air conditioners will be running.

There are going to be a lot of angry Europeans writing harsh comments to their leaders if they ever get their power back on.

Just a matter of time before the whole grid goes. This may have been a test. No electricity means no water, no refrigeration, no e-trains, hospitals and traffic signals. The great dying will begin, and the survivors will own nothing and be happy for a bowl of insect-gruel.

Hell, our news HERE is trying to pretend the 'green' energy craze had nothing to do with it. They want us under the thumb really badly.
Speaking of, remember the try on some feds part to make it illegal for anyone in Alaska to use any wood-burning stove except the newest, most efficient type?

One more thing: it goes down and stays for any length of time, what do the illegal aliens of certain background do? They get away with so much with the power on, when it goes off and stays any length of time...
