If all correct, this takes my opinion of Bill Gates from "He's a miserable bastard"

to "He's actually evil.  Him and everyone else involved in this."


In another case of  "If they're not evil. they're close enough to start building a gallow"; from the sound of it every officer involved in this should be relieved of command.  And court martialed.  And possibly- well, various punishments come to mind.

Dead serious, if this is how these bastards and their political masters(quite possibly paymasters) treat the troops this badly in peacetime...  Floggings for a start, possibly hanging for those actually in charge of this bullshit.
