Not seeing why bullet speed matters. Would McGropey be OK with 5.56mm if they were only 1.5x "normal" bullet speed? I doubt it. Is that round faster because it is from an AR-15 versus a bolt action rifle?
He also claimed that the recoil from an AR-15 is too much for a woman to handle, but she can fire a shotgun. And this was before the first signs of senility. I've wondered if Biden is impressed with the noise from an AR-15 and has no idea what "recoil" and "muzzle velocity" mean. OTOH, if he thinks women can't even handle a loud sound, he's the worst sexist pig in politics since Ted "swimmer" and "waitress sandwich" Kennedy died.
Now, an AR-15 might have 5 times the muzzle velocity of the flintlock muskets they would like to restrict us to (not really, if they get away with banning modern firearms, they'll ban the antiques too), but I think only if you double-shot it with a light powder load.
