5.56 tracer. Apparently not deliberate, it was one of a bag of ammo that he'd bought, and almost all the orange on the noses had rubbed off; it was in a magazine and wasn't spotted.
Very happily, it was spotted when it started, and put out before it became a real threat. Still stunk like hell, and worried everyone. A lot.
I can do without that happening again.

Shooters Paradise had a shredded tire backstop, with an ammo storage room behind the backstop wall. It was almost always busy, had good staff, but that day back in ’07, some knucklehead lobbed a tracer into the backstop. it slowly lit the backstop afire and the rest is history. The range was a total loss and the area lost a range forever.
Don’t be that guy. Don’t let the other guy, be that guy.
