Friend of mine is a nut about Brit firearms, and loves Webley revolvers. Short time ago he picked up a mold to throw a 255-grain hollow-base bullet like the last used in the .455. Helped run a batch of them, which shoot nicely from a Mark VI.
Idea occurs: wonder if these would work in a .45-70?
That's over a light load, ten grains of Green Dot, same as I've used with paper-patched 250-grain semi-wadcutters for the .45 Colt. We'll see how it works.
