The real reason some of them want us disarmed:

it'll make it easier to kill us.

Well, bless his heart.  I'd bet he's like someone I used to know who classes anyone not a socialist or leftist Democrat as 'Republican', so he plans on having a lot of targets.

So the Second Amendment has outlived its purpose. 

The Second Amendment is nothing more than a myth. A fund-raising tool for the Right. An excuse for gun manufacturers to profit from the killing of people and animals. A talking point for Conservatives. And a safe harbor for criminals, psychopaths, and the delusional rednecks who pretend they are soldiers on the weekends. 

It’s time to repeal the Second Amendment.
A: The Constitution, and the people who wrote it, say "Screw you.  No."
B: We say "Screw you.  No."
C: You plan on going around taking them yourself, or do you plan to delegate that to other people so as not to risk your own precious self?(Trick question, I know, he'd never even consider trying it himself, not even with a EffingBI SWAT team behind him.
D: You plan on shooting everyone who won't go along?  We'll see how well that works.


Charlie Hebdo has decided to do no more:

We have defended the right to caricature.”
Considering some of them were murdered for it, and every chickenshit progressive out there blamed THEM for 'inciting trouble', I can see why they'd decide this.

So it's up to us to take up the slack.  Let me find a couple to post again:

Bob’s idea is that tribal leaders would give him the names of white farmers they’d like to have sent back to Zim, who will then have to farm like beasts and save the country, but will not be allowed to own the land they farm on and will essentially have no security or assurance that they won’t be assaulted, evicted or even murdered in future. 

Sounds like a great plan Bob, let’s see how it goes.
Sounds like he wants some skilled slaves to save his ass from the damage he's done.  Or he might be more careful in his language and call them 'indentured servants' or something.

The Wall Street Journal has reported that Admiral Bill Gortney, head of the U.S. Northern Command, directed on Sunday that recruiting centers nationwide should implement "modest" new security measures as the Pentagon considers more concrete steps in coming weeks and months. 

Though Gortney did not authorize recruiters to carry weapons, a point that has spurred debate following a a brazen daylight attack by a 24-year-old Chattanooga man on two military facilities in Chattanooga, they do direct "recruiting centers, reserve centers and ROTC facilities to increase surveillance and take basic steps such as closing blinds at the offices," according to officials interviewed by the Wall Street Journal.
I find myself wondering: is Gortney one of the assholes who pushed the 'Better you crippled or dead than we overly-upset the locals' rules of engagement that got so many of our people wounded and dead?
