I had two rounds left from earlier testing I'd saved to run over the Chrony: .30-30, the 100-grain SWC, 9.0 of Unique. That's not a mouse fart, pushes that little bullet up between 1700-1800fps. Accuracy not as good as the lighter load, but not bad. And, at least from two, no mess in the barrel.
