There, is the reason that cattle were domesticated and most varieties of deer weren't!
Saying that, the half grown friesian bulls that spent the summer in the field next to the house would have loved to have ground me to pulp if I'd gone in among them without a stick, buggers!
Their good bits are busy being turned into steak and their other bits into burgers as I type.
Note for anyone else roping deer, Tie the other end of the rope to the draw bar and lead it home that way - not that having it at home will do any good, wild animals tend to get so stressed that they starve themselves.
