"I abducted your girls. I
will sell them in the market, by Allah," a man claiming to be Boko
Haram leader Abubakar Shekau said in a video first obtained by Agence
France-Presse.
"There is a market for
selling humans. Allah says I should sell. He commands me to sell. I will
sell women. I sell women," he continued, according to a CNN translation
from the local Hausa language.
Well, either these slavers didn't get the memo that it's all about socio-economic status and not related to their religion, or the administration is either
Lying their ass off or
Completely full of shit.
I know which I'd bet on. Especially considering the dot connecting done in the Front Page article. Which would also explain why the assistance offered has all been investigators and security people as opposed to "If you need some assistance, we have some troops who would be quite willing to find these terrorists and kill them."

Larry Correia has made the most excellent point that, while all these American movie stars are making a public spectacle of their cheap hand-wringing over the situation, they could have actually raised a few tens of millions of dollars (which is pocket change for these people), hired Blackwater or a few hundred Gurkhas, and sicced them on Boko Haram with orders to rescue the girls and leave not one of the terrorist slavers alive.
But whining on Twitter is cheap, I guess, and doesn't have any real consequences for anyone. It doesn't require them to do anything but post a selfie making a sad face and holding a sign.
Heinlein was right. We ARE living in the Crazy Years.
