Assigning the severity of punishment based on the perp's affiliation with a 'protected class', including holding certain political ideologies violates societal mores. A result is decrease of trust of goverment and decrease in revelancy of the same.
Something to keep in mind is the system we have is sound, it is certain actors within the system which need to be corrected. Either through remediation or more severe methods.
The media has bidens back. Most americans will never hear about this.

Let's see if Biden('s handlers) dare to nominate the judge who gave that light sentence, Wilhelmina Wright, to replace Breyer. That would make the Senate hearings very interesting - or even finally convince one or two Senators that the Democratic party has left them and lose the Democrat's control of the Senate.
