Been thinking about this for a while:

Drive throughs are dangerous places.

If you're in a line, leave enough space between you and the vehicle in front that, if you have to, you can get around them.

Keep an eye on what's happening around you.

Do you carry?  Be sure that, if you have to, you can draw it while in the seat.

Especially some places, this crap is going to get worse.

I have been doing that and more for years but now more than ever I have moved into a more observant mode.

The drive in ATM always was a bit of a concern with me although I’ve never heard of a specific incidents. I could have been from the plot of a Michael Connelly novel.
