Old name/new company, new M1 Carbines
History buffs and reenactors take note–Inland Manufacturing has
announced the launch of their new incarnation of the old M1 Carbine line. That is right, I said Inland. But this is not the former
division of General Motors that is known for its war time production of
American arms. This is a new company with new production firearms.

1 to 1.5k for a rifle? I don't have that much money and every once in awhile you can still find original Inlands for under 7oo.
I'd hope that MSRP is high; as you say, originals can be found for that or less.
