Countdown till Obama or Lautenberg want to ban remote-control toys...

Investigators said the two Boston Marathon bombs were triggered by long-range remote controls for toy cars — a more sophisticated design than originally believed — bolstering a theory that the older suspect received bomb-making guidance on his six-month trip to Russia last year.

More than 100 crucial gauges that warn of imminent flooding or lack of needed water will soon be shut down, as part of the federal government's automatic budget cuts.

U.S. Geological Survey officials tell The Associated Press that stream gauges will be shut down across the nation starting next month. Some are in the nine states threatened with sudden Spring flooding.

Of course, that would require this to actually be due to budget cuts, instead of cuts in the increase and such.

Lefties decrying the SPLC contributing to this violence in... never.
Family Research Council (FRC) officials released video of federal investigators questioning convicted domestic terrorist Floyd Lee Corkins II, who explained that he attacked the group’s headquarters because the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) identified them as a “hate group” due to their traditional marriage views.

“Southern Poverty Law lists anti-gay groups,” Corkins tells interrogators in the video, which FRC obtained from the FBI. “I found them online, did a little research, went to the website, stuff like that.”

Hate speech and gay marriage will finally kill the First Amendment, which is perhaps what was intended when the First Amendment received such a broad interpretation 80-odd years ago, and where if the leftist argument couldn't be won with persuasion it was won by calling out the shock troops of college rioters.

Bases on the abysmal handling of flood waters from ND South a couple years ago, may as well stop measuring. The measurements are clearly ignored.
