And the legacy of Jimmy Carter II, also known as the Lightbringer,

continues to build:
Chanting “death to America,” hundreds of protesters angered by an anti-Islam film stormed the U.S. Embassy compound in Yemen’s capital and burned the American flag on Thursday, the latest in a series of attacks on American diplomatic missions in the Middle East.
So far, so bad: another embassy breached, another American flag destroyed. I'm sure we'll hear another speech along the lines of "We will work with the government to find the guilty"; slight problem:
The protesters breached the usually tight security around the embassy and reached the compound grounds but did not enter the main building housing the offices.
Once again, be interesting to see if the local .gov finds the 'guilty', since the local .gov was apparently assisting the bastards in attacking the embassy.

I also find myself wondering: is this standard, or did someone give orders that 'the Marine guards are not to unnecessarily harm the protestors' or something else along those lines?

Obama won't meet with Netanyahu, but WILL meet with the Muslim Brotherhood president of Egypt. Well, to be fair, he's a lot more comfortable meeting with someone else who doesn't like this country.

It remains unclear how or why the Democratic Party used what’s believed to be images of the Russian Black Sea Fleet at their convention.
I can make a couple of guesses... The last panel seems to cover it nicely:

Independent federal legal officials have concluded that Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius violated federal law by conducting political activity “in an official capacity,” according to a statement released on Wednesday.
Hey, Holder's still getting away with smuggling guns and piles of dead bodies, why would she worry about this?

I've got a bad taste in my mouth, and it's too early to start drinking. Bleargh.
