That's not lynching, it's therapeutic neck-stretching

LOCAL women in the villages of Attagara and Kawuri in Borno State disarmed 10 Boko Haram terrorists who tried to attack their communities over the weekend resulting in the lynching of seven of the insurgents.

As part of its ongoing reign of terror, Boko Haram tried to spread its operations to Attagara and Kawuri villages in Gwoza and Bama Local Government Areas of Borno State. However, they were resisted by a group of women using local charms among other things and were disarmed.

After the women repelled the attacks, they then raised the alarm and the rest of the community rallied round to apprehend the insurgents. Three of the terrorists fled but seven were arrested and lynched by an irate mob.
Wonder if some .gov rep is going to tell them "Now register your guns or, preferably, turn them in" ?
Which question might actually be 'Will some .gov rep be stupid enough to tell them-"

Apparently the police in London think actual crime is so under control that they feel free to violate law and ethics and act like this.

The proper response ought to be "No warrant?  No court order?  Give me your names and ranks so I know who to tell my solicitor to sue."

Further cheering, outrage and whatever will have to wait.  Got the second coat on the floor this morning after not nearly enough sleep, and now need to edge and mow.  Partly because it's needed, partly because if I keep sitting here I'll fall asleep.

Interesting. If you read the story, the women weren't armed at all. They used witchcraft to disarm the B.H. guys. If this gets out, the 2nd amendment is finished. The laws will focus on teaching witchcraft in school as a means of self defense.

Oh! Heh, when I read "local charms", I took that as a euphemism for 'feminine wiles'.

On the plus side, those women should be armed now, assuming they weren't foolish (or overpowered) enough to give up the weapons they confiscated...

Sigivald -- with any luck!
I sincerely hope that if they were smart enough to paralyze their attackers with feminine wiles and witchcraft, they were smart enough to keep the weapons the seven hanged no longer need.
End the terror in Nigeria. Send Rifles.
