Jean Weber of Destin filed a complaint with the Department of Homeland Security after her 95-year-old mother was detained and extensively searched last Saturday while trying to board a plane to fly to Michigan to be with family members during the final stages of her battle with leukemia.
Her mother, who was in a wheelchair, was asked to remove an adult diaper in order to complete a pat-down search.
But don't worry, it's all good because
The representative told her that personnel had followed procedures during the search, Weber said.
So, just like the SWAT assholes who shoot your dog that's cowering in a corner, it's OK because 'they followed procedures'.
Koshetz said the procedures are the same for everyone to ensure national security.
“TSA cannot exempt any group from screening because we know from intelligence that there are terrorists out there that would then exploit that vulnerability,” she said.
Really? How many people in muslim attire get this level of search? How many who make a point of letting everyone know they're muslim get it? I doubt anywhere near the number of old people and children and well-built women who get felt-up by you bastards.

Tell the woman she should put her mother in a burka for the return trip. Stand back, watch the difference in treatment, and THEN get a really hungry lawyer.
Through no actions of my own, those TSA jackwagons have managed to make me feel ashamed for being an American.
First anonymous is correct. If American women started wearing burkas the TSA would have to start actually doing something useful.
I feared the TSA would soon show their true colors as direct descendants of the Schutzstaffel and Gestapo with a little bit of "Hogan's Heroes" thrown in. Such organizations always attract that type of people. "We were just following orders", don't you know. It pisses me off to no end that as "Government Employees", they represent me as an American. I appreciate Windy's statement, altough I don't think it would do any good. You need to start with a quality organization to begin with. TSA is broken by design. "You can't fix stupid" -- Ron White.
