Also on their agenda was the removal of an “offensive” 15th century Giovanni di Modena fresco in the Bologna cathedral and the deletion of Dante’s Divine Comedy from the school syllabus.
This wasn't simply "You shouldn't have one religion favored" type argument; this was a "You can't have anything we don't like" power grab.
