On that Ruger had a chance to try,
the gentleman* had a suppressor, and among other things fired some of the Hornady 190-grain Sub-X ammo.
Holy crap. The stuff is quiet from a semi-auto, but from a bolt gun with no action-cycling noise, it was amazing.

If you are considering getting into suppressors now is the time. In the past the wait for tax stamp approval was typically 10 - 12 months. Currently approvals can come back in 48 hours. That speed will not last. As soon as the election is over there will be no political incentive to be efficient and wait times will skyrocket again.

If you wait, you might find that the tax stamp gets reduced to $20.
