It's about time S&W got the hell out of the PROM

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee, Department of Economic and Community Development Commissioner Bob Rolfe and Smith & Wesson Brands, Inc. officials today announced the U.S.-based leader in firearms manufacturing and design will relocate its headquarters and other major operations from Springfield, Massachusetts to Maryville, Tennessee.

In addition to its headquarters, Smith & Wesson will relocate its distribution, assembly, and plastic injection molding operations to Tennessee. The project represents an investment of approximately $125 million and will create 750 new jobs.

I wonder what the dickheads in the PROM will have to say about losing all the income that's now going to TN?

Kind of surprised by the move. S&W has never been particularly conservative in nature. I suspect this move is more about taxation than anything else.

No sweat. It is just another excuse to provide welfare to those who are not useful. Better to have dependants than workers who are always complaining about taxes and prices.

S&W probably has lots of future contracts for gubbmint work and expects a raft of BS from the Woke Progressives who blame them for the condition of the cities.

"What will the dickheads in the PROM have to say about losing all the income that's now going to Tennessee?"

If they're like the dickheads in the PRO California they'll say "Don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out".

Exhibit A- Darrell Steinberg, former head cheese in the CA state senate and current 'Mayor for all of Sacramento' said back when he was Head Cheese-

"The idea that businesses are leaving California because of higher taxes and more regulation is a myth."
