Bad guy gets an officer's gun and shoots him with it, and this is what the asshole says:
Chief Acevedo responded to the incident by denouncing those who will offer sympathy for the officer while refusing to support gun control.
He said, “We were in Washington Monday talking about gun violence in
our city, in our community, in our country, and I don’t want to hear
from politicians tomorrow about how much they care about my cop.”
Nasty situation, and he wants to use it for this?
He used to be chief at Austin, from what I've heard he finally stepped on his own dick badly enough he had to leave and Houston was dumb enough to hire him, and he's doing the same "We need more gun laws!" crap that helped make him such a jerk in Austin.
