"The whole point of the Trayvon Martin case," according to Slate's Justin Peters, was supposed to be to serve as "a referendum on how comfort and privilege deal with the unfamiliar."
Got that? Zimmerman isn't supposed to be on trial for 2nd Degree Murder, oh no, it's supposed to be a REFERENDUM for Peters' cause. A 'referendum' that can put a man in prison for the rest of his life, of course.
Add in the dirtbag Martin family lawyer NOW claiming "Oh noes, this was never about race or profiling!" After, of course, it's blown up in their(fittingly) collective face.

As they accuse Zimmerman of racial profiling, tell me,is the reason that they continue to show twelve year old pictures of Travon Martin because he now at seventeen with a grill and tats looks like the kind of hood that might be looting properties or jumping the local population. how about showing the public what Zimmerman saw that lead him to the conclusion that travon wasn't part of the normal crowd.
