Gadhafi's son doesn't understand

why people are upset.
The son of Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi says Scotland's release of the only man convicted of the Lockerbie bombing opens the way for trade deals between Britain and Libya.

"Lockerbie is history," Saif al-Islam al-Gadhafi said of Pan Am Flight 103, which blew up over Lockerbie, Scotland, in 1988, killing 270 people. "The next step is fruitful and productive business with Edinburgh, London. Libya is a promising rich market and so let's talk about the future
.
Well, assuming you're so friggin' stupid that you can't understand this: people are upset because a convicted terrorist murderer was turned loose in what increasingly looks like what you just called it: part of a business deal. And you clowns gave him a hero's welcome.
Gadhafi apologized for any perception that the Libyan government had not done its best to contain the jubilant scene. He said that it was not a "hero's welcome" but that Megrahi was greeted by a few hundred of his friends and family.
Gadhafi is a damned liar; even if this dirtbag had 'a few hundred of his friends and family' who wanted to greet him, Gadhafi rules the country; he could have kept them out, easily; they were there because he wanted them there.

Yeah, it's history, you misbegotten offspring of a rabid dog and a distempered camel; and we remember it.
