the hip and some family stuff, I'm tired. And beat. And due to the combination, my somewhat light bloggage may get a bit lighter at times.
On the boomstick front, had a chance to fire an old Martini .22 that had a suppressor mounted on it. With subsonic ammo quite quiet, and the four brands being tried were all about equally accurate at 30 yards.
Speaking of, there's a lot of subsonic .22 ammo available now, including some marked 'standard velocity' that's subsonic.
I shall now leave you, as I have an appointment with some rest.

Rest well.
You've earned it sir.
They also make subsonic in 5.56/.223. I've stood in the same room, 10 feet from one with a 1x12" can attached and the only noise it made was the click of the trigger. It made less noise than any fake tv/movie suppressor.
That's impressive performance
