I have just heard of the 8.6 Blackout,
a 6.5 Creedmore case shortened and necked up to use a .338 bullet.
No. It may be wonderful, but I don't want another cartridge to load for.

I had a quick look at it. I had not heard of it before but I consider it a waste of brass and other wise useful components. There are soooo many better cartridges out there already. Now spread those resources even thinner? What is going to replace? The 458 Socom? I think not.
Manufacturer's need to focus on getting the backlog of components back to a healthy level then the prices can come down.
