I wonder how much the unions pay for Pelosi?

She's really trying to earn it, however much it is.
“Do you think it’s right that Boeing has to close down that plant in South Carolina because it’s non union?” asked host Maria Bartiromo. Pelosi’s reply: “Yes.”

The minority leader quickly added that she would rather it simply unionize and stay open. But barring unionization, by Pelosi’s reasoning, it should simply shut down.
"If you're not in a union, screw you, you should lose your job."

IIRC Pelosi's husband owns some company located on Guam or Saipan.
I also recall that he got some sort of special favor from Congress. The only difference I can see is that Mr. Pelosi was sleeping with the Speaker of the House, while the directors of Boeing were not.
As Robert Heinlein's Grandfather reportedly said, "The more complicated the law, the more opportunity for a scoundrel." The more complicated the law the more opportunity for graft and corruption to the benefit of the elected officials.

I believe they own part of Starkist Tuna in Samoa, may well be others as well.

Oh, and I've been told the tuna in MREs is from Starkist, and is marked 'packed in American Samoa'; isn't that interesting?

StarKist Samoa is owned by Dong Won Industries of South Korea. Dong Won is located in South Korea where the US has recently negotiated a bi-lateral Free trade Agreement that will eventually end tuna packing in American Samoa and the 2500 jobs at Starkist.
