bunch of assholes.
No excerpts; you need to get the full flavor of this. CBS, screw you; I've seen the show a time or two, but I won't be watching it again. I think I'll wander over to their feedback form and say so.
Oh, and Empty-Hat Salazar, our Secretary of the Interior, is even more worthless a bastard than I thought before(not an easy level to reach, I assure you).

While I understand that a lot of these people are just regular Hollywood people who are against deadlines, threatened with firings if they don't produce, etc... Someone REALLY dropped the ball here... Actually, probably two someones... The Hollywood production people that didn't bother to do their research on a site location, and the people who actually allowed them to "rent" the location on such a day...
As for the actual poor treatment of the site, and the people, no such excuse...
Also, someone should have called a continuity person to take a quick inventory, called the day a loss, and then gotten on the horn to get someone in planning a well deserved reaming.
Not that there's a particular day that our fallen don't deserve respect, but... Learn to plan for crowds...
