Some more on the attempt to down the aircraft

yesterday; go to Riehl World and scroll down, bunch of links.

I'll argue one thing: I've been seeing some 'attempted terrorist attack' wording, and that's flat wrong; it WAS a terrorist attack, happily an unsuccessful one as far as downing the plane.

You're right! "Unsuccessful" vs "attempted". Difference in degree. By asome accounts in the wording, it looks like another attempt of the MSM to lull the citizens and serfs back to sleep and complacency.

Reminds me of someone trying to get leniency for a thug because "the victim wasn't seriously harmed" or some such bullcrap; we're supposed to be nice to the thug because either he was too incompetent to cause serious harm or the victim luckily escaped it?

This 'attempted terrorist attack' crap is on the same level.

Actually it was successful, if you count more restrictions on their target.
The TSA ratcheted up domestic inspections and harassment of holiday travelers in response to a terrorist flight originating overseas.
Add to that the AP and the rest of the media falling all over themselves to avoid naming the man, or identifying his religion, because you know Islam is the religion of peace.

H&I fires don't have to produce casualties to be effective.
