Oh, holy crap that's stupid. A communist country that hasn't had actual elections since Castro took over, and we are somehow preventing the people from choosing...
Oh, and in all the 'Cuba has supported people of colour by supporting black liberation struggles in Africa', there's no mention that black Cubans weren't allowed to work on the tourist beaches or in the tourist hotels for decade after decade, because Castro didn't like blacks. Neither did the leftist hero Che. But they never talk about that. The Party before everything else, y'know.
With the embargo brought up again, something that was pointed out a long time ago:
"The rest of the world trades with Cuba, so why don't we? We're ruining their economy!"
