A senior Obama administration official told The Associated Press that the charges against Abd al-Rahim al-Nashiri will be dismissed without prejudice. That means new charges can be brought again later.
It also gives the White House time to review the legal cases of all 245 terror suspects held there and decide whether they should be prosecuted in the U.S. or released to other nations.
Uh-huh. I'm sure you'll just sweat yourself to death to get to filing the charges all over again. You....
This was all I could find online right now; radio just had a bit on it; says he's going to meet with the families of those killed on the Cole to 'assure them' it's being done for a good reason.

A very astute and knowledgeable radio host in my area (Jay Severin) reported a story in the NY Times in which Dick Cheney predicts an eminent nuclear or biological attack against the USA by alQueda.
Now many might put this down to partisan bullshit, but consider that Cheney is probably the most knowledgeable man alive about such threats and their credibility.
Consider especially what information the Bush administration may have gleaned by whatever means what AQ might be up to in a new Obama administration.
I hate to think what is going to happen.
Maybe it'll happen to DC while congress is still in session?
