Tucker Carlson of Fox News was given access to a lot of the January 6 security video,

and a lot of the Usual Suspects are crapping their pants in outrage.  'Security Risk', don't you know.  Etc.  Which translates to "We don't want people seeing these, they might not believe what they were told!"

Co-host Sara Haines agreed that Carlson would not present the “news” and said she agreed with Griffin that the main concern was whether showing the footage would compromise security. She then claimed that it had been proven that Republican members of Congress had given tours to people before the riot, showing them where certain things were located.

Haines then claimed that nothing good could come of Americans seeing the footage anyway, since the January 6 Committee had already concluded its investigation and reported its conclusions.

Because we can trust that they were honest and unbiased, right?
Excuse me:
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Adam Schiff would literally leave confidential meetings, to get on the phone to his so called journalists, telling them details of what was going on. So giving people a tour of the capitol seems to be pretty mild, and actually a service to their constituents.
I myself think that the footage should be released to the public, except for anything that might possibly be considered a security risk. There is no rational reason that it should not be released, other than Democrat machinations.
There is one good thing that came out of the midterm elections, the Republicans took control of the House. Even as close as the margin is, they are able to release some of these things and investigate others. Plus, they kicked some of the worst offenders of security off of intelligence committees.

I would like to have someone answer one question for me in that I am getting old and a little feeble perhaps but; if the goal is to share the information on those videos with the American people, why is that they are not posted to a public web site where we can see for ourselves instead of having anyone filter it for us?
