Watching people kiss the ass of a dead tyrant who put gays in camps,

tortured, murdered, was a racist bastard and looted the country has been amazing.

And it's usually said by people who compare Trump to Hitler.

I don't know what color the sky is in their world, but it must be amazing.

From up north, in reaction to the PM's slobbering farewell to the tyrant,
For all the parochial Canadian susceptibility to the propaganda myth that pits a shabby-bearded rebel in olive fatigues against the imperialist American hegemon, by the time he died on Friday night Castro was one of the richest men in Latin America. Ten years ago, when he was handing the presidency to Raúl, Forbes magazine calculated that Fidel’s personal wealth was already nearly a billion dollars.
Which tends to get overlooked.  A lot.

And a few other things:

●He outlawed private enterprise and labor unions, wiped out Cuba’s large middle class and turned Cubans into slaves of the state.
●He persecuted gay people and tried to eradicate religion.
●He censored all means of expression and communication.
●He established a fraudulent school system that provided indoctrination rather than education, and created a two-tier health-care system, with inferior medical care for the majority of Cubans and superior care for himself and his oligarchy, and then claimed that all his repressive measures were absolutely necessary to ensure the survival of these two ostensibly “free” social welfare projects.

You see, EVERYTHING was made better by Castro.  And if you don't believe it you're a fascist.  And probably a racist, too.  Etc.
