As of now, the USPS 'tracking' is STILL showing 'pre-shipment, awaiting item'.
I've had the bastards show that until just after the thing was delivered. At which time it magically- apparently- appeared on the front porch.
Yuck. And it's not even Thanksgiving yet, if you order stuff I'd imagine it'll be worse.

Probably due to air traffic control shenanigans. I actually got a delay notice from Dell computers before my order actually shipped.
never ship by USPS if you have any other choice.
too many items have "gotten lost" for me to use them for anything other than mail.
They are getting stranger and stranger. I had one that kept bouncing around finally getting within 10 miles of my address and turn around the next day to see it 3 states away again
USPS for years charged you extra to promise to not steal your stuff. Main reason why UPS was so successful. EVERY package got tracked door to door.
