Short time or not, this I have to talk about

I have a Crossbreed holster- the Reckoning, to be precise- and it's been good.  Right up till I found a crack in the Kydex portion a couple of weeks ago.  Yes, I seem to be hard on things.

So to the site I go, find the 'FAQ' page, which has a "What if my Kydex cracks?" section.  Email was sent.  Next morning was a response, with a "We're 2-3 weeks out on orders, we'll get it out soon as we can."  Which is good.

Yesterday I came in.  Which package had, instead of a kydex piece to install, a new holster.

Place does service like that, it's a good thing to tell people about it.

A fine piece of news, and nobody deserves this more

New Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth on Tuesday stripped former Joint Chiefs Chairman Gen. Mark Milley of his security detail and ordered the acting inspector general to investigate whether the former Army leader could face criminal charges or a retroactive demotion for misconduct, potentially including undermining the chain of command.

The unusual move is the latest showdown between President Donald Trump and Milley, who served as the top uniformed officer during Trump’s first term in office and has been a vocal critic of the president’s actions and demeanor.

In a statement sent out by Pentagon leaders just before midnight, Defense Department spokesman said that Milley was informed of the actions Tuesday afternoon.

“The secretary has directed the DoD IG to conduct an inquiry into the facts and circumstances surrounding Gen. Milley’s conduct, so that the secretary may determine whether it is appropriate to reopen his military grade review determination.”

I don't know enough about how this all works to say 'he's in trouble', but I suspect he is.  Some of the crap he openly talked about doing to Trump, his boss, should get him every bit of trouble possible.

And I hope it does.

Once saw a video from a talk where Mark Steyn and another guy were speaking against

the 'liberal side' who thought the rape gang mess was being overly used to upset people; one of the 'liberals' chuckled and laughed at how Steyn seemed so upset that 'he seems a little fixated on sex.'  Steyn took a minute to reply and flayed(metaphorically, unfortunately) the skin off the asshat, including "Apparently I'm just not sophisticated enough to see the humor in child rape."

He's been taking on the equally disgusting asshats who've been trying to shut people up about the Further Adventures of the Sex Slavers and the Unbeliever Stabbers, and here's a little bit from one of his columns:
Sir Keir Stürmer and every outpost of the corrupt British state have lied to the public about every aspect of the Southport mass murder since the very first statements by the Liverpool chief constable passing off the killer as a "Cardiff man". Her officers knew within hours that the Welsh boyo who loved male-voice choirs was, back in the real world, an observant Muslim in possession of the Al-Qaeda handbook and enough ricin to kill twelve thousand of his fellow Welshmen. But they did not disclose this information for months - not until freeborn Britons minded to disagree with Keir Stürmer's Official Lies by suggesting that this seemed pretty obviously merely the umpteenth case of Islamostabbing had been rounded up, fast-tracked through Keir's kangaroo courts, gaoled for longer than Muslim child rapists, and in at least one case driven to his death. Does Sir Keir feel bad about the late Peter Lynch? Or does he take the same relaxed attitude to his victims as Axel Rudakubana?
I think he wishes he could just imprison anybody who causes static for his 'You Commoners Need To Shut Up And Celebrate Diversity' project.

He has helpers, too; lots of cops and politicians are scared to death of being called to account for what they helped happen.  They SHOULD be scared, because what they've done is disgusting, horrifying, racist/classist, and horrifying.
