Retired USAF Officer here. You can refuse to obey an unlawful order, but the definition of "unlawful" is up to the beholder.
Remember the lefts motto..."Rules are for thee, never for me". And they prove this to be the truth on a daily basis.
They are not honest, the Big Lie is one of their favorite tools.. You have to keep that in mind with everything they push!
Back in my Navy days we'd say "If you think you've been given an illegal order, you'd better be right."
They can unless there is a democrat in office. Remember dear old joe fired everyone that refused the clot shot.
