Because of those epithets, Sanderson was charged with "ethnic intimidation." Insulting the officers in such terms was an anti-white hate crime, from the perspective of the authorities. Sanderson had made bias-motivated "terroristic threats," they claimed. The alleged motivation increased the seriousness of Sanderson's crime from a first-degree misdemeanor to a third-degree felony.

We'd say that freely recording and broadcasting your intentions via social media is by all measures, an un-coerced confession.

The sister of Yasmin Seweid, the 18-year-old Muslim woman who lied about being harassed by a group of Donald Trump supporters on the New York City subway earlier this month, is blaming the media and the New York City police department for investigating the story.

The story went viral, with news outlets reporting her allegations without questioning whether she may have been lying. Seweid also gave interviews to local news stations.

Seweid admitted on Wednesday that she made up the story so that she would not get in trouble for missing her curfew. She was arrested and charged with filing a false police report.

While Sara Seweid wrote on Facebook that she “is not excusing what my sister did,” she went on a lengthy diatribe in which she did just that. Seweid blamed the media for covering the story and blamed NYPD for investigating the hate crime claim.

“The NYPD should have never been involved in the first place even if the incident did happen,” wrote Seweid, who has a “Deport Trump” bumper sticker posted on her Facebook account.
And if they hadn't, you'd be screaming that they didn't care how Muslims are treated, don't care about Womyn of Colour, etc.  You sorry twit.

“I know this isn’t the first time something like this happens so I really think people who are so concerned about how Muslims will be perceived in the media or how future hate crimes will be dealt with need to take a step back and think why muslim [women of color] have felt the need to do this. Went by one of my usual reloading supplies places yesterday.  Some powder in stock, lots of bullets still sold out.  Lots of shotgun primers, but the ONLY primers on the shelf that were not magnum or a few match were some Tula small rifle; all the standard large rifle and large & small pistol were gone.  And there was one box of X-treme .44 bullets on the bulk bullet shelf.

The line that sums up my objection to the racket was formulated by the Toronto blogger Kathy Shaidle: “You’re too stupid to tell me what to think.” In recent days, the last lonely defenders of the Canadian thought police have all volunteered to demonstrate Miss Shaidle’s proposition. The Opposition critic for “public safety,” Randall Garrison, bemoaned the demise of the commissars’ “power to educate Canadians.” “We do have a serious problem,” said Garrison. “If you take away the power to take [websites] down, it’s not clear they have any mandate to even talk to people about it and educate them about it.”
Got that? If you can't censor and prosecute people for non-approved speech, you can't even talk to them! Really!

Mr. Garrison, assuming you ever read this, I'm with Steyn: one of the last things needed in this world is PC bigots like you 'educating' people on what they SHOULD think and say. Screw you.

So even if it's a flat-out lie, a politically-correct 'hate crime'

still demands action. Just not action against the lying bastard who makes the false claim of a crime.

If you're going to go along with the hate-crimes idea, here's one for you:

"I sent it to let him know I am extremely displeased for his declaration of war on Muslims, which is what I regard those hearings as," said Barnette, a medical records consultant.

"I knew the Jews were behind the hearings. A monkey is a representation of who the Jews are," said Barnette, in explaining why she chose the beloved children's storybook character as a symbol.

"I will be scanning the obituaries to read the end of your saga, which should read: AIPAC purchased, treasonous scumbag politician and loyal ass-wipe to his Jew masters, succumbs to prostate cancer," she wrote.
Oh, and apparently that ban on pigs doesn't extend to using parts to express opinion:
