From what I've read the most dangerous volcano in the US is Mt. Ranier,

but St. Helens blowing would not be a fun thing either.

Lot of things not mentioned here, like is the magma chamber refilling?  Happily, a quick search found this, which says quite likely.

Doesn't look like anything happening soon, barring the mountain deciding to yell 'SURPRISE!'

Hopefully it blows in conjunction with the Cascadia fracturing as well as the San Andreas and New Madrid zones. That would make for a helluva culling.
