A new S&W snubbie in 9mm

that uses moon clips, and can fire without them.

Interesting.

I hate shooting .357 Magnum snubbies - just too violent for me to handle for more than a couple of shots. 38 Spcl. aren't nearly as bad and I guess this 9mm. Para. should be similar. 9mm bullets have been enhanced for better expansion while retaining light recoil.

And 9mm is a lot less expensive for practice

I seem to remember a revolver being marketed 30? years ago that could fire 9mm Luger, 38 Special and 357 Magnum all from the same cylinder. Since 9mm bullets are .002" smaller .355" versus .357" it's possible.

It would've needed moon clips, but can't see why it wouldn't work. I've known of several revolvers for both .45 Colt/.45acp, or .357/9mm that had different cylinders to take care of the headspace problems and allow them to fire without clips.
