That Scottish girl who pulled the knife and hatchet to run the bad guys off?

They dropped the charges on her- apparently even their cops and prosecutors catch enough shit and they get the point- and now we have this, borrowed from Lawdog:

In an event that surprises abso-bloody-lutely no-one, it is (quietly) being reported that a Romanian grooming gang in Dundee, Scotland has been sentenced for “raping and sexually abusing at least 10 women”3 across the city.

We are Officially Advised By The Authorities that there is absolutely no connection between the two incidents, and how dare you. Just because a 14 year-old girl produced weapons after she and her 12 year-old sister were exposed to grooming gang behaviour by Eastern Europeans, followed by guilty verdicts against multiple Eastern European4 grooming gang members, doesn’t mean that she should have defended herself and her sister!5

As to whether they're Religion of Peace adherents, no mention, and I'd be shocked amazingly if the Brit cops or press mentioned it if they are.

I do have to say: I appreciate the fact that — for once — the Brit government decided to round up a grooming gang, instead of covering up for it, arresting witnesses, ignoring victims, and jailing outraged family members7 — but that little girl should never have been hemmed up by the British legal system.

Just because y’all got half of one right, doesn’t mean I won’t continue to call: “Shame on Great Britain. Shame on you all.”
