Two things on the mess in (fG)Britain

First, on the "We must get rid of knives!" crap,
Curiously, until the arrival of immigrants from places like Somalia, Britain didn’t have a knife-crime problem. I recall, back in practically the stone ages of the 1980s, being able to purchase commando knives, throwing daggers and Crocodile Dundee sized bowie knives as a pimply teenager and no one was worried. Random teenagers did not enter dance studios and stab little girls. There was no war on pen-knives or kitchen cleavers because people bought them to use for their intended purposes. Almost every one of the football hooligans who fought each other in the stands and the streets could have been armed with a poket knife of some sort - in fact I expect many were. But they didn’t use those to stab each other, they used their fists and little more, because the point of that fight wasn’t to kill the other side.

Now, when those same hooligans and their descedants are attacked by knife wielding immigrants they are likely to respond in kind. These people understand “deterrence” and the deterrent effect of killing someone because if they are dead they can’t do it again. The only thing that stops them, for now, is that the real fear of two tier justice where they get extra punishments for being “racist” while the other party gets to walk free because of “cultural issues” or being a victim of racism. Americans and others on Xitter and elsewhere have asked why British men didn’t stand up for their girls. The answer is right there: when they tried to they were at best ignored or worse punished for being racists. When the full power of the state is against you it’s hard to resist short of going Killdozer.
The key being 'cultural issues', etc.  Because if you blame objects for what people do, you don't have to be all judgey about the people committing them, and have to deal with actually holding them responsible; Why, if you do that, in the mess currently happening you might be called racist!  And better people not be protected from actual criminals than that!
Which is exactly why you have sex slavery gangs raping and torturing God-only-knows how many thousands of girls, mostly young white ones of the 'lower classes' being tormented, sometimes for years with the Upper Classes and Brit .gov and cops minimizing it, when they bother to notice it at all, because they'll be called racist for doing something about it.  And you have assholes like the current PM who was worried, along with the other leftists, that if they actually DID something it would force it to the public attention how widespread this was, and that would cause Social Upset, which was absolutely intolerable.
Second, there was a guy on Fecesbook the other day all upset with me paying attention to the 'Raise the Flag' protests over there because "Your country has problems, you should ignore us and do something about that!"

Well, doing something about various problems here is why we have clowns like the Mayor of Chicago, the Mayor of DC(who's had rather a change of mind on this), and the Governor of Illinois having fits at the President turning Fed forces loose in DC and threatening to do it in other cities: the crime rate in DC is way down, especially on a number of the violent crimes, and the bastards don't want that to happen in their areas: it would make them look flat incompetent and terrible, so they scream 'Racism!' and 'Tyrant!' and other crap.  Your PM and lots of Parliament is right on the same side as said asshats.

Second, borrowing from a guy on the subject,
The Left, in both countries, have enlisted the aid of the politicized judiciary (and its lapdogs, politicized law enforcement) to try to stymie the election of someone who is far and away the most popular politician in the country: Le Pen Over There, and Trump Over Here.

Of course, what the Leftist DOJ did to Trump happened, as I said, some years ago, whereas the same thing happened to Le Pen just a couple months ago.

The order is unimportant. What’s important is that the Left are not going to stop trying to do the same, over and over again. Whether it’s because of alleged “wrongspeak” (in Yurp) or manufactured crimes (Trump), the end goal is the same: stop the voters from electing the “wrong person”.

And anyone who can’t see the parallels between the actions of the Gestapo(in Germany) BfV and our own beloved Biden-era CIA and FBI are also fucking dense.

So yeah: I continue to observe the goings-on outside our shores (especially in Yurp), because for those who still haven’t seen the wood for the trees, the Stalinist Comintern is alive and well.
