Opinions large and small, worth everything you pay for them.
Tactical lights are not my thing. I would rather hold a flashlight in my offhand on the chance someone shoots at it and happens to connect.
Not sure about the patent claim, but the trademark claim is rock solid. Of course, all HF has to do is take the silver ring off the design (or even paint it red or something.)
