Saturday night and threatening to rain; good time to be indoors at home

I have no objection to going out, but things tend to get expensive.  Bought anything more upscale than a Coors(which I can't stand) in a bar lately?  There's a German restaurant with a bar not far from me, and they've got some really good beers; buy one, leave a tip for the bartender(they're generally quite good), and that's about ten bucks.  Doesn't take but a few of those over a few days to pay for a big bottle of decent whiskey(seen what a shot of that goes for now?), or a couple of six-packs of good beer.  So, unless there's something a/some friends are doing to go to, I tend to stay home.
