Anybody surprised, what's wrong with you?

After the Friday release of guidance by the ATF, the answer by the industry was swift and definitive; the sales of suppressors skyrocketed to a point where most manufacturers have sold out most of their near-term allotments and won’t be able to replenish stocks until Q-1 of 2027, if not longer.

Along with the general 'Wheee!', can you say 'in common use'?  And throw in "Holy shit, what happens if we tell people 'We're going to change it back and you'll  have to get a stamp and all, and a more expensive stamp at that', and all these people say 'Screw you, no.' ?"

Which also brings us to this:
Two Texas Gun Rights members whose suppressor business was targeted in a sweeping federal ATF investigation have filed a new constitutional lawsuit against the Department of Justice, challenging the federal government’s authority to regulate firearm suppressors manufactured and sold entirely within Texas. Jared Gee and David Abt, owners of Texas-based suppressor manufacturer 1836 LLC, filed their lawsuit on October 9 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas.

And we're back to "WHEEE!"

Only in America could we enjoy elected representation that designated a government entity to regulate "shall not be infringed". But only because they care enough to do it for US.
