No, I don't post as much as used to. Partly time, and partly interest, a certain amount of "Haven't I already yelled about this?" But some things are worth noting, like Texas Sen. John Cornyn is behind in the race for that taxpayer-supplied seat, and his backstabbing on the 2nd Amendment is a big reason. Good, needs to happen to a bunch of other Republicans.
Same for lukewarm support for Trump. He's the big reason a lot of good things have been done/started, but they only play along where they pretty much have to; and as soon as Trump is off the election, these asshats may well lose to a Democrat; they're pissed-off and -in a bunch of cases- insane, and will vote in pretty large numbers, and those Stupid Party clowns don't excite much of anyone. It could make the mid-term elections very bad.
The people using the current "How dare you walk about what the murderer was!" incident to attack the 2nd demonstrate once again that they don't know what the hell they're talking about. Which, for their actual supporters, doesn't matter(What was it Occasional-Cortex said about some people worrying more about being factually correct than having the right feelings?)

Case in point, while Texas has Cornyn, Iowa has Ernst who voted for that misnamed safer cities bill and it's red-flag laws. Just another crazy bitch who, if she runs again, will get the votes just for putting an R after her name.

When the Tea Party was a new thing Cornyn came to Longview and gave a speech on the courthouse lawn. He started out talking about thing even i could get behind. After ten minutes ish ,and the crowd was jacked up and cheering for everything he said, he started pushing things that no Patriot would agree with, Yet, you crowd continued to cheer! If he had started with that crap they would have booed him outta town. I stood there staring in disbelief. I didn't know how crowds worked. I stood there watching for a while, amazed at the Bullschitt these Tea Party supporters were cheering,,then I grabbed the currently and hopefully permanently dead wife and we left. If I was to ever vote for him the question on the ballot would be something along the lines r
