The training sites aren't handicap-accessible!  There's not enough BIPOC/Etc. teachers to make me feel comfortable and empowered!"

Apparently the knowledge that field sites are often dry, or hot, or wet, or cold, or muddy, and that nobody gives a rats ass about your skin color or who you sleep with, is just too much to take.
