I feel very sorry for you James. To not miss a father is just so foreign to me, I don’t even know how to process it. My Dad drank too much, wasn’t a “happy” drunk by any means, but still taught me how to shoot, hunt, fish and clean & cook the harvested game. Because of his drinking and the effects it had on him I vowed I would never be that way. I just sit in the corner and laugh or grin when I’m lit. He was a mans man and taught me so much more about just plain living and succeeding. I miss him dearly after all these years.

ReplyDeleteMine's been dead for 47 years, I didn't care then and I don't now. I am always envious of those who had a father they miss when they are gone.
